Frank Purinton papers, 1970-1986.

Collection comprises correspondence, manuscripts, and printed material related to the work of conservative American activist Frank Purinton from 1970 to 1980. Purinton believed an international conspiracy of Communists, Zionists, and Satanists threatened to destroy the United States and abolish Christianity. Correspondence includes incoming and outgoing letters to politicians, leaders of Christian organizations, and members of racist and anti-Semitic groups. Manuscripts include speeches, essays, addresses, and articles, many of which focus on the theme of the "Communist-Zionist-Satanist" plot. Printed material includes newspapers, newsletters, and pamphlets on a variety of topics, including Christian perspectives on national and international politics and events, economics, and the media.
